As part of our run up to Firefox 1.5 we've just launched an Extensions contest with some great sponsors. Alienware has provided us with three Grand Prizes of some really killer systems that we're having skinned with a Firefox theme, O'Reilly has provided $250 gift certificates for technical books, and we're sweetening the pot with iPod Nanos and Firefox t-shirts, laptop bags and other schwag.
The contest will be open to individuals and groups and will also have categories for both new and upgraded Extensions and will end on January 6th, 2006.
Full contest details and information at www.extendfirefox.com.

Woohoo! Talk about timing. I've been thinking about my various ideas for extensions over the past week or two, and then this comes up. Perfect Christmas holidays project, and...
"Contest is open to residents of the US, Canada (excluding Quebec), and the European Union. Void where prohibited."
Aww crap. So much for that idea (living in Australia, and all). :(
